1/2 Cup green peas
1/2 lb lamb (or substitute chicken if you prefer)
1 Tb Tomato Ketchup
1 tomato
1 tsp oil
pinch Turmeric powder
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
Water as desired
Heat oil in a non stick. Add cumin seeds and roast until fragrant. Add turmeric powder (Turmeric has tons of healing properties. Amongst its foremost, its anti-inflammatory and helps digestion). Add the meat and saute till lightly brown. Add the remaining inredients followed by water and lastly salt. I like the lamb completely tender (and so does Bahaar). So I usually pressure cook it. My pressure cooker has a weight which when releasing steam, makes a shrill whistling noise. I usually cook the lamb until it gives of 4 such whistling steam. Bahaar ate this with rice, but it can be served with bread or Rotis.
